This is not good. It's 11:30 and you're either in bed, relaxing with a cold one, reading!! (yea!), watching the news, eating a late night snack, etc. and what am I doing--reading the blog. I really got charged up tonight by your lit circle discussions, your paper topics and drafts, the magazine draft, the seminars Matt, Dawn and Jack delivered, book club talk, etc. etc. My mind just keeps racing and reveling in your initiative, your intensity and your involvement.
Thank you!!
A couple of quick ones--Please send me your list of the top 3-5 titles no later than TH at noon. I will need to be able to copy them for class TH night. I will also have the rest of the Walter Mayes booklet that I know you will find very useful in future.
We'll meet at 6:30 next week UNLESS I hear from someone that he/she can't make it. We will try to keep class to 2 hours. But it's going to be very hard to say goodbye in that time.
Also, I said you did not need to turn in a folder on your lit circle book.
But go ahead and include any materials you have already developed for your title in your portfolio.
And please post to the blog about your book--what did you think? And why? And what was provocative about your discussion? I look forward to reading about your discussions and more about your book. Thanks. KES
